Disconnect Gmail and remove your local data.

Delete saved queue data and Gmail authorization

1. Open FollowUp on your Mac.
2. Select Privacy in the sidebar.
3. Choose Delete Local Data…, then confirm Delete Local Data.

This disconnects Gmail, deletes FollowUp's Google OAuth access and refresh tokens from macOS Keychain, removes saved Gmail and Messages snapshots, clears completed-item history, and removes any imported Google OAuth client from this Mac. It does not delete any message or email from Apple or Google. Local AI model artifacts—including an installed model, verification record, or partial download—are preserved and can be removed separately.

Optional: remove the downloaded model

1. Open Accounts & permissions in FollowUp.
2. Find Local AI model.
3. Choose Remove Selected Model…, then confirm.

This removes the selected installed model and its partial download. Other downloaded model packs, your Gmail connection, queue, and completed-item history stay in place.

Optional: revoke access in your Google Account

For an additional account-level revocation, open Google Account connections, locate FollowUp, and remove its access. Google may adjust the labels on this page over time.

If you cannot open FollowUp

1. Open Keychain Access, search for the service com.followup.local, and delete the item with account gmail-oauth-tokens.
2. In Finder, choose Go → Go to Folder…
3. Enter ~/Library/Application Support/FollowUp.
4. Move the FollowUp folder to the Trash, then empty the Trash.

The folder contains local Gmail and Messages queue snapshots, any imported Google OAuth client configuration, and all Local AI model artifacts. Moving the whole folder to the Trash therefore removes installed or partial model downloads too. The separate Keychain item contains the authorization tokens.

Optional: remove remaining app preferences

To remove FollowUp preferences and completed-item state, delete ~/Library/Preferences/com.akash.followup.plist while the app is closed. macOS may manage this preference file on a delay, so logging out or restarting can be necessary before the change is reflected.
